My memories are mostly from the late 80s/early 90s, and it involves the two pretzel places (one at each end of the mall, IIRC), and the smell of the popcorn at the Revco, or whatever that drug store was that was right in the mall. Sigh....
Have you been to Park City? That's a mall that's appears to be doing very well.
I have :thumb:

TBH, for where we live, it's easier for us to just drive out to the Exton Mall. All highway.

I don't wear a ring either. My wife doesn't mind
Is this a "thing"? The thought of not wearing a ring has never even crossed my mind. Is there some functional reason for not wearing one, or something else?

Gotta love when your smoke detector gives you the low battery warning beep at 4 AM...

It's hardwired into the electricity. There's no reason it should be running low on juice.

I've never been a jewelery/watch guy. I dunno, it just feels weird to wear it. I don't need a ring to know I'm married, and I sure don't act like I'm single in public.

Yeah, I haven't worn my wedding band going on 14 years now..it's uncomfortable, and I can't wear watches for the same reason.

I don't wear mine to work, but that's because on any given day it could get FUBAR'd at my job.

Ours have battery backups, and as they were installed at the same time (newly built home), they began beeping, one at a time, over the course of a month...always in the middle of the night.

Rings and a watch are the only jewelery I wear, which is different than many women. I never wear necklaces or earrings anymore.

It seems weird to me that a flat ring is so uncomfortable to you guys. Although, I've worn one of rings since the age of 12 so it's almost a part of my body at this point.

I'm not a jewelry guy at all, but I wear my ring every day. It was about a 3 month adjustment period to having it on daily, but now I couldn't imagine not wearing it. As sappy as it may sound, from time to time I look down, see it there, and smile. It makes me happy. It's very similar to my tattoo... it's not there for other people. It's there for me. I like it, and that's all I care about.

That's pretty much the reason we went hardwire. Instead of changing the batteries on some of them, we'd just remove them.

Kenny the kangaroo knows two married men that don't wear their rings. personally, this gentleman can't even wear a fitbit for 24 hours without habitually fiddling with it, so a wedding ring is going to be a serious challenge. ALL THE MORE REASON NOT TO GET MARRIED AMIRITE?!?!?!

My ring hasn't left my finger since my wife put it on almost 5 years ago. I feel like a lightweight, properly fitted ring wouldn't pose a problem for most men. Alas, there are still some weirdos out there.

I have two rings, the one I was married with that has a diamond and I wear day to day. I also have a titanium ring I wore to Afghanistan and would wear again if I ever got my hands dirty.

I have the one I got married with and it has diamonds, but my daily ring is a cobalt chrome one I bought on ebay for $25. It's scratched to hell, but that's why I got it.

I know two people through ultimate that got matching tattoos on their ring fingers so they'd be able to do things without their rings while symbolically still having something there.

I have a gold and platinum wedding ring that I wear when I leave the house most days. When I get home, I take it off. When we go on vacation, I usually don't take it for fear of losing it or having it stolen.

My wife largely does the same.

20 years this April.
