What about moving Cutch to right (or left) and put one of the Pirates other CF'ers in center?

Cutch doesn't have the arm for right. He's either at CF or LF. I think eventually he'll trade places with MarteWhat about moving Cutch to right (or left) and put one of the Pirates other CF'ers in center?

Not to get all Penguins-esque conspiratorial but there have been reports in the past that Cutch is a little divaesque about playing RF or LF.

That's BS: Cutch never gets to pick his line mates.

There have also been reports that he gets a little divaesque when suggested to play somewhere other than as deep as humanly possible in CF.Not to get all Penguins-esque conspiratorial but there have been reports in the past that Cutch is a little divaesque about playing RF or LF.

Cutch's value in CF comes in the form of speed and athleticism. But when it comes to decision making out there he's basically brain dead. Plus he has the arm of a 10th grader.

He failed to call off the infielder twice yesterday once resulting in a hit.

If nothing else, Marte can play CF once Cutch signs his big deal with <team not named the Pirates>.

I always thought he looked like the kid that was the captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team from the Harry Potter movies:

Cutch's attitude is probably something along these lines:Not to get all Penguins-esque conspiratorial but there have been reports in the past that Cutch is a little divaesque about playing RF or LF.
A.) I won the MVP 2 seasons ago
B.) Everyone agrees I'm one of the best five players in the game
C.) I was here first
So that's why he gets to play center.
If Marte was here first, he would be in center no doubt.

The pirates walk rate is laughable at this point:

Note that Jordy Mercer's walk rate is 3rd among regulars at 5.9%. That is somewhere between comic and frightening.

Madden is discussing a tweet from Travis Sawchick, quoting Hurdle saying out of one side of his mouth that Cutch's knee problem is overblown, then out of the other said he says that Cutch wont be totally running out select hit balls to preserve the knee. Yikes. WTF is going on down there? I get that they said rest and treatment aren't going to help much, but how does continuing to play on a knee that doesn't allow you to run out certain batted balls not make it worse? Very concerning

So rest and treatment don't help his injury? Does that mean he needs surgery or do those options not work on him?Madden is discussing a tweet from Travis Sawchick, quoting Hurdle saying out of one side of his mouth that Cutch's knee problem is overblown, then out of the other said he says that Cutch wont be totally running out select hit balls to preserve the knee. That's the only way I took it. Ive never heard anyone from the Pirates say they were told rest wont help, Madden was relaying the Sawchick tweet, but I can't imagine they'd rather go "just don't run out certain balls if you think the guys going to catch it" instead of having him sit for a week or two and try heel up.So rest and treatment don't help his injury? When is the last time the Battling Bucs scored a run in the first inning? Or the first two for that matter?
Edit: Found it, April 26th vs the Diamondbacks (2 in the 1st)
