The most influential for me among the old-timers...I studied him and his delivery and his joke rhythm for just days and days and days on end once I learned of him...

That's a little on the nose, I like your style. I don't play warz, but surely one of these fork and spoon operators can figure that out... @everyone else

I shopped there alot to this day just for jeans and cheap polos. I'll miss it but its nostalgia more than anything else. Grew up getting clothes there for school when my grandma would take me there. Penney's and Hills were my back to school shopping places.4 JC Penny's closing in the Pgh area. Will anyone miss them?

I bought a lot of my clothes at JC Penny for years, in particular Stafford sport coats and Van Heusen dress shirts.
The one in Pittsburgh that I understand is not closing (Ross Park Mall) is the one closest to me, but I don't shop there anyone because the owner of the mall has a no-guns policy and I refuse to shop in such places. If I want something from Penny's, I order it online.

Same here. Hills for basics and around-the-house clothes, and Penney's for nicer "school" clothes. That was pretty much the case until I went off to college.

Penney's closing in Monroeville is one more nail in the coffin of the mall closing which makes me sad. The mall sucks these days but growing up going to the Monroeville mall was a big part of my early teen years.

Yep same here. I am a platinum carrying member of the JCPenney's credit card to this day. Guess it won't get much use anymore.Penney's and Hills were my back to school shopping places.

Hills and Ames were the family go-tos. The smell of popcorn when you walked in was a childhood delight

I hate malls. When I was growing up towns were the places to go, shop, just hang out and drive through. Malls (and internet shopping) turned my lil Washington into basically a ghost town. Absolutely nothing in my town now but a tattoo parlor and a CBD store.Penney's closing in Monroeville is one more nail in the coffin of the mall closing which makes me sad. Speaking of, I used 2 TP today, due to my fever, chills and short breath. It's only the first day so we'll see how this goes.Kaiser ran a game a month or so ago
